  • Milestone set to Firmware 2.3.7.0
  • Status changed from new to infoneeded

Did this problem happen with other firmware versions as well, or did it start happening with beta3? What version were you using before this?

To gather some debug info, could you do the following?

  1. Connect to your Fonera using SSH / SCP (See reportbugs more more info)
  2. Edit the file /etc/init.d/boot and find the following lines:
            #logread > /tmp/logread
            #logread -f >> /tmp/logread &

  3. Remove the # in front of both lines
  4. Reboot your Fonera

Now, when the pppoe session breaks again, log into your Fonera using SSH / SCP again and get the file /tmp/logread and attach it here. This file will then hopefully give us insight into what is happening and why.

Thanks!
