Description
Hi,
i have a fonera2 hooked up into a private wifi ap (non-fon) for internet, and connected using ethernet to a desktop.
All of the below, were done using the latest firmware (caterpilar), and configured using WEB only.
this setup is very unstable. and apparently, without changing anything, the wifi connection works and stops working. Most of the time, i detect a wifi signal without a name (but the MAC is fonera's private) and a FREE_FON.
As some helper, if i change the channel in my primary wifi ap, then the fonera gets it again, and published again the private signal. But for some hours. Then it blanks again the private name, and get's into a "unnamed" wifi signal. If i change the channel again in the main AP, it works again.
yesterday, two strange issues appeared: in the web dashboard, GATEWAY was set to the network mask 255.255.255.0 (just a GUI issue?), plus, the public signal was broadcasting a name of "off".
hope this helps anyway
kauá
