cannot connect to priv signal using NetworkManager

Description

It randomly connects to the private signal but most of the times it won't. The password is asked again and again and only after a lot of retries it connects. When it fails networkmanager --no-daemon outputs the following errors: 

NetworkManager: <info>  (wlan0): supplicant connection state:  scanning -> associating
NetworkManager: <info>  wlan0: link timed out.

Then the password is asked once again.

Using:

  • firmware 2.2.3.0 (Caterpillar)
  • 4965 AGN (in a Toshiba A200 laptop)
  • Archlinux and NetworkManager? 0.7
