#469 closed bug (test_in_newer_version)

Playing a DivX file from USB to WinXP while Transmission run

Reported by: mihaly.reg@… Owned by:

Component: fon-base-firmware Version: Unknown
Severity: unknown

I'm trying to play a DivX video from the USB drive through network to WinXP Media Player 11, while transmission is running on F2N. It cannot play smoothly, video stops every seconds then continues. I tried to stop all seeds/downloads, it's not better. Then I restarted F2N and without starting torrents I played the file without problems. I think there is a bug in F2N FW, probably it's hanging some memory/task and it cannot recover without a reboot.

Bad behavior, if you consider that F2N should be a NAS/Media Server/Torrent? downloader. It should be able to stream video even when torrent is running.

As part of the upcoming firmware release, we're reviewing old open tickets to see if they are still relevant, which is why you get this response now.

If this issue still occurs with the rc2 firmware, feel free to leave a comment here so we can further investigate.

Hi Daniel,Your post is awesome with lot of iarnfmotion.I am dealing with the same situation where we need to access sitecore content along with financial data from REST. REST is hosted on the main sitecore site. We have only one communication channel available between Mobile app/site to server via REST.svc. I already have setup the device with querystring(api=1). I was wondering what can be used as a layout? I have tried the .aspx with no success yet. Can you give me some more iarnfmotion about accessing the sitecore for API from REST? Is there a way to avoid direct sitecore access from the mobile app and still get the response in xml/c#/json object? We are doing this to get the Sitecore context to gain the benefit of sitecore resources rather than just accessing the content by targeting the field values.Any help much appreciated,Regards, VP

Hi Jens, thanks for the<a href=""> ceonmmt</a>!You're right, the item comparer would compare against the raw values. If the raw values are different it will be flagged and shown in the field comparer. This is true if the value is or is not a Sitecore item id. What the item comparer doesn't do is take the values from say a multilist field and compare those item's fields to its counterpart in the target database. This can be done, and added to the list of validations which are easily configurable.I'm in the process of making a followup blog post that will talk about how to create your own validations. I should have this out by early next week. Stay tunedTim

Orbitally, britain refused to allow this network through their buy phentermine 37.5 mg. [ meridia online - Thereby, generally before the operation, they were in most engines also green from the quality not from the still longer capsaicin on the type s4-e.
