#7 closed bug (invalid)

ssh access from wan doesn't work

Reported by: rwhitby Owned by: john.crispin@…
Priority: normal Milestone: First Release
Component: fon-network Version:
Severity:
Cc: Hardware:

Description

<rwhitby> is adding a firewall entry to forward port 22 to 192.168.10.1 expected to work for ssh access from wan?
<iurgi> yes
<iurgi> but
<iurgi> mmm
<rwhitby> it doesn't seem to.
<iurgi> but nothing
<iurgi> weird
<iurgi> let me test it
<rwhitby> it goes into zone_wan_forward instead of input_wan
<rwhitby> so iptables doesn't allow it.
<rwhitby> need to special case the lan ip address

Supporting this scenario would mean that a dev could forward port 2222 to the router lan IP port 22, for example. It's a useful boundary case to support.
