#851 closed bug (test_in_newer_version)

Reported by: t031 Owned by: john.crispin@…
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: fon-network Version: (Gari)
Severity: unknown
Cc: t031@… Hardware: 2.0n (FON2300)

Bandwidth optimizer on Fonera 2.0n Gari seems to have a problem. Conected wifi devices loose their internet connection upon heavy torrent traffic. Removing QoS gets everything back to normal.

(In [1961]) luci-music: Disable looping for radio streaming.

When streaming a radio station, a "playlist" containing just a single stream is loaded. This commit disables looping in that particular case. This prevents issues when the connection to the stream breaks, which causes the the single playlist item to become invalid. Previously, audiod would keep trying to play this file over and over again (which, due to a recently fixed memory leak also caused a router reboot).

Ideally, audiod would try to reconnect after the connection breaks, but that is not possible in the current design (since it is a forked luci that connects to the stream, not audiod itself).

W00ps, typo in the ticket number. That should have been #581.
