Description

It would be very nice to have a downloader front-end for fon2300. At present, it is not very convenient to download a (slow) large file to fon2300. Even if you use a ssh shell to fon2300 and the (already installed) wget. This is because you have to keep the ssh connection open (there is no 'nohup' installed on the fon2300).

For less experienced user, a plugin with web front end would be really nice. There are some suggestion to this in trac (like #606), but it might be worth to consider to problem more general.

There is already a download manager available (at least in 2.3.6.0) that can download files over HTTP. Did you not see this, or is it not sufficient?
