Description

i'm ussing WAN connection trough a 3G dongle. I can connect to internet witout problems and configure DDNS sucesfully. I openned web, ssh, ftp and ping in fonera firewall but there is no way to access neither this applicatios from outside. I enable this application in firewall configuration.

I think this is a bug present in previos version of firmware.

I have a suspicion that this might be caused by a firewalling rule at your internet provider. Could you check if those ports are accessible when you connect the 3G dongle to your PC directly and then open up one of those ports?

I' suspect this too but I discatd this. I have other 3G router (same SIM Card, different router, different dongle 3G) and ussing BitTorrent? in PC. Thiw works perfectly bidirectional ways both income and outgoing using forwarding port to inner PC.

Also, torrent client in PC and Fonera router works fine with UPnP to negociate income port connection and works OK bidirectional way...

There are a way to activate a firewall trace in order to detect this package denied in fonera iptables?

Regards

Daniel

It could still be that your ISP is blocking specific ports (or perhaps everything below 1024, for example). Perhaps you could set up something to listen on port 80 (such as the "netcat" command, run netcat -l 80).

Another thing: Are you actually testing this from the outside internet? Just using your dyndns name from behind the Fonera might not work, even when access from the real internet works. If you give me your dyndns domain (email it to matthijs at stdin.nl if you don't want it online here), I can have a look at the open ports from here.
