i have the same webcam too with the webcam plugin i only see a white screen with cambozola on it.the java console shows sun.awt.image.ImageFormatException?: Bogus Huffman table definition

at sun.awt.image.JPEGImageDecoder.readImage(Native Method) at sun.awt.image.JPEGImageDecoder.produceImage(Unknown Source) at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource?.doFetch(Unknown Source) at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher?.fetchloop(Unknown Source) at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher?.run(Unknown Source)

When i use motion the webcam works fine

  • Milestone set to Firmware 2.3
  • Status changed from new to investigate

From the looks of the error, the webcam is spitting out a JPEG file that the webcam plugin does not understand.

Perhaps there is a newer version of the java application used in the webcam plugin available that does understand these JPEG files, we'll have to look at that later (probably somewhere after the final).
