Friends&Family not working?

I saw som tickets with this problem and solved, but I still have problems with it. I can't login, changed the usernames on, but doesn't work!

Hey Tom,

could you run the following command on your Fonera and paste the output here?

root@Fonera:~# cat /etc/fon/localusers

For info on how to run a command and how to format the output, see reportbugs.

Additionaly you could try removing the user from the F & F config page and then re-adding it, to force the user to be sent over to your Fonera again.

I'm having the same issues here.

I've just installed the DEV firmware and the is no localusers file in that path.

I've created by hand a localusers file with a username:password format and I've been able to log in.

If you need further details I'm ready to do more tests.

And why can't they make a new firmware that is working!?

As part of the upcoming firmware release, we're reviewing old open tickets to see if they are still relevant, which is why you get this response now.

I recently tested this again and Friends & Family is working for me.

If this issue still occurs with the rc2 firmware, feel free to leave a comment here so we can further investigate.
