transfer data do an external disk is very slow

Description

I have an external disk attached to an usb hub with external power and the trasfer rate is very slow. the disk is formated in ext2

What do you mean exactly with "very slow"? Can you put a measure on that? Note that the network connection is limited to (theoretically) 10Mbyte/s, wireless is probably less than that.

If you connect the disk directly to your PC, is it a lot faster?

Very slow means about 3Mb/s. If I connect the disk directly to my pc the speed is about 7 Mb/s.

As part of the upcoming 2.3.7.0 firmware release, we're reviewing old open tickets to see if they are still relevant, which is why you get this response now.

If this issue still occurs with the 2.3.7.0 rc2 firmware, feel free to leave a comment here so we can further investigate.
